BOYNE CITY Total Solar Eclipse Viewing Event

From 10:00AM to 4:00PM

A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the face of the Sun. The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk. For our region, the best viewing time will be at approximately 2pm. The next total solar eclipse will be viewable in Michigan 20 years from now. Spend the day with us enjoying our hands-on activities and explorations both indoors and outdoors focusing on science, history & the arts. $12 per person admission includes solar glasses.

Spring comes to life at the farm!Come and visit the newest members of our family, the baby animals! We have a front-row seat waiting just for you, with all the furry, fuzzy and cuddly farm animals. Watch them play, eat and learn more about them from their caretakers.Cuddle baby chicks, baby donkeys, kid goats, baby lambs, young yaks and alpaca… oh baby, do we have babies! It is such an exciting time on the farm and offers guests a more personal experience with all of the animal babies. GREENBUSH How Trauma in the Developmental Years Can Impact Adulthood

This Adult Trauma workshop is 5-sessions for all adults curious about the impact their own adverse childhood experiences & other traumatic events during childhood has on their adult lives .It will help you recognize the impact trauma has had on you, help you feel empowered to take positive steps towards healing, understand and manage overwhelming emotions, understand and modify problematic patterns of behavior, develop a strength-based understanding of your life story, seek trauma-focused assessment and treatment (if needed), & take care of yourself.Sessions are in-person weekly at 6pm-8pm starting April 8th through May 6th.No Cost to residents of Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency, & Presque Isle Counties.
